Rubber bushings are designed to have a camber, but they generate a large amount of resistance when stroking (every time a bump or rebound occurs). Because the case and rubber are fixed, the fulcrum position is unstable due to "twisting", "deflection", and "crushing", and the range of movement is limited, resulting in a constant change in alignment. In addition, the rubber is constantly generating a repulsive force, which continues to have a large effect on the movement of the suspension as you drive. By replacing this large resistance with a pillow ball, there is no "twisting", "deflection", or "crushing", the fulcrum position is always constant, there is no change in alignment, and resistance is greatly reduced.
