D-MAX Power steering rack (Silvia S14 series)

In recent years, many extended lower arms for the front suspension, large turning angle knuckles, and high grip tires have been developed, which put a lot of strain on the power steering rack, and many cases have been seen where the seals blow out because they cannot withstand the pressure. Also, genuine parts are too expensive, and there are many blowouts, so rebuilt parts are also in short supply, so D-MAX developed it based on the Nissan Silvia S14 "non-HICAS car". We are currently testing the compatibility of small details such as genuine oil seals, and will inform you as soon as the results are available. The durability of the steering rack varies greatly depending on the power steering oil, so D-MAX recommends SUNOCO oil, which has a proven track record and is used in vehicles participating in the D1GP.

Regarding installation,
the center of the steering wheel may be slightly misaligned, so be sure to adjust the steering rack to the correct position before installation
to make sure there is no misalignment.
*When installing the adapter
　For genuine racks, if you install a ring to increase the turning angle, the driver's side is 7mm and the passenger's side is 14mm.
　For our racks, the driver's side is 9mm and the passenger's side is 9mm.
