D-MAX DRIFT SPEC bonnet (late S14)
Produced in a domestic manufacturing factory, this product is lightweight and focused on the weight of the product for racing. The high heat inside the engine room that rises during drift driving is drawn out from the large duct on the top of the engine, dramatically increasing the cooling effect. Not only does it lower the oil and water temperature, but it also has the effect of suppressing the rise in temperature inside the engine room, which prevents sensors from malfunctioning due to heat. The carbon bonnet has a beautiful texture because it is clear coated even when unpainted. It makes use of the characteristics of carbon material with a strong continuous fiber structure. Dry carbon is lightweight, durable, and heat resistant, but it is very vulnerable to ultraviolet rays, so D-MAX is made of wet carbon made by natural drying using polyester resin suitable for street users. FRP is finished with a gel coat assuming painting.
